I would say that every structure of a poem could have a figurative speech that impacts the stanzas and also majestic words that allows the reader to feel the emotions of the said poem.

Generally, love poems have a figurative language in which the author uses sensitive words to express his/her passionate thoughts. All this allows the reader to feel the emotions expressed by the poet. Another common thing that poets use in their poems is comparisons. For example, "you are like a sweet cup of coffee". Some poets use rhyme to write their love poems but some others not.
