In spring of 2003, terrible storms hit the central united states. officials believe that there were at least 80 tornados that struck the worst-hit states. in one city, the winds knocked down the gymnasium. they also knocked out power, and water supplies were cut off. many people were forced to drink bottled water and look for shelter underground. the twisters brought down houses and other buildings, and many people lost their belongings. tornados are not new to people in the central part of the united states, but that does not make them any easier. do it! the situation was a ordinary b dreadful c peaceful d mysterious
