This subheading shows the reader that it will be about how WWII changed the daily lives of people. By the end of the section, the reader should have a firm answer to the question.

Subheadings cover the subject of that part of whatever piece of literature you're reading. The heading covers everything under it and a sub heading covers the main points inside the heading.
