This is an excerpt from Outcasts United by Warren St. John, who tells the story of a soccer team that is formed by refugees and has a woman, Luma Mufleh, as a coach.

In this fragment, Luma feels the players' families and the teachers need her. In other words, she feels important. Furthermore, she feels comfortable with her new job as a coach but she is also worried because of Ashton. Moreover, Luma is scared of disappointing the investors and not being able to succeed on her own to prove it to her parents.
