15 points & brainliest ! when the speaker compares dream memories to fall leaves that are hard to catch, what feelings does this simile suggest? what was i dreaming? it's coming back to me! but scraps of dream memories drift just out of reach like fall leaves dancing in the wind that i chase madly but cannot catch. a. the speaker is confident b. the speaker is disappointed. c. the speaker is ashamed. d. the speaker is excited. i am stuck between b & d. explain your answer
The speaker sounds disappointed, as he was so close to finally grasping but they keep leaving him. It also says he chases them madly but is unable to catch them. Showing disappoint in himself.
the answer is D because the speakers conveys a loud and ecited tone more ovr than does he convey a disappointed tone he says that he chased madly which shows excitment
the speaker seems upset because he is so close to getting what he has been trying to get but it slips outta his hands
He is trying to get that memory of the dream back. When it says "That i chase madly but can't catch". I might not be correct but i am giving an educated guess cause he isn't confident or excited that the dream memory is drifting away.
Speaker is disappointed
