- Point refers to the main idea of the paragraph you want to state. Remember that the following sentences need to relate to this one.

- Illustration is the one that supports your point. Remeber that it needs to be very specific and concrete, leaving no room for vagueness.

- Lastly explanation tells us how the illustration supports the point and how the point supports the main idea of the whole essay.
