Ihave an essay due for a horror story and i need tips on how to start it as well as put in suspense. the plot is a single mother stalked by a 65 year old ex navy seal who's gone mad and has grown an obsession with the woman.

I would start the story as another usual day for the mother or you can just start off by saying how she became single and what happened to her spouse.
