Why does the poet subramania bharti say the that the wind god winnows

'Winnows', is a short term, means to separate grain from the husk by blowing it, sort of like a dandelion.

When the poet says 'Wind god', he means the wind. He uses the metaphor, "The wind god winnows and crushes them all" to say that the god of wind will send a heavy air and all who fall or are left weak will be knocked down.

 It means that nature sifts the weak things from the strong ones. Everything that is weak is tossed

by the powerful wind and gets destroyed. Just like the winnower separates the grains of wheat from

the chaff, similarly, the wind god separates the weak from the strong
