In what way is the theme in this excerpt from "the lady of shalott" by alfred, lord tennyson similar to the theme of the poem "ulysses"?

Alfred's "The Lady of Shalott" and Lord Tennyson's poem "Ulysses" has similarities in terms of themes in the their content in such a way that the main characters share sad themes and are living in solitude and are away from society. Also, because of this, both of the characters are very well insistent when it comes to escape the isolation and go back to society. Lastly, the stories are both set in the past and are filled with mythological themes.
