more than likely, tellow volunteers will have many common
interests and ideals. after all, volunteers usually seek
opportunities to use their time and talents for issues they
care about, and this is often a good starting point for many
friendships. as co volunteers, hours will be spent together
learning from one another and inspiring each other while
working to achieve a common goal. teaming up with others
to solve community problems and making changes for the
better, not surprisingly, often leads to long lasting bonds,
local community programs provide opportunities for
volunteers to share their expertise.

rarely continued beyond the project's conclusion
every community has programs that will gladly accept

From just reading the first 2 sentences I do not know what volunteers you are telling me about. In your topic sentence, you should give a vivid description of what you want your reader to be able to picture. In other words, give a description of what a volunteer may look like, because the reader has no idea what volunteer, what kind, who it is, etc. Also, in your topic sentence, should tell your reader what your article is about. For example, "Whales, dolphins, and sea turtles are all animals that are affected by pollution in many different ways." This example is a good topic sentence because it states the main idea of the article (animals affected by pollution,) and it gets the reader ready to hear more about the article. I am not going to give you atopic sentence to use for your article, but I hope that this example helps.

the expression ''as the tithe of his sons'' indicates how his father intended for at least one of his sons to serve the church. this phrase demonstrates that his father offered him as a last resort since none of his brothers chose to serve the church.
