Explanation:

 Poetry is a literary composition in verse form , which is different from prosa and normal speech. It uses meter and rhyme. Some  types of poems are:

Sonnet - it's a lyrical and it has fourteen lines (Sonnet 138 )

Epic -  long and historical poem written in blank verses (The Iliad; Paradse Lost )

Ballad - it is a narrative poem (Annabel Lee )

Hymn - spiritual praise (Amazing Grace )
