Because men did got hurt when they were working and doing any thing else they also thought women could not do anything successful

Basically I am learning about this in class but have background knowledge as well is that women were subservient to men meaning they were like servants because they had to do the work and people were prejudice of them and that is when the Woman's Suffrage Movement started and men joined in too.
