This answer has to be original to you, but I guess I could give an example.

One time I had nobody around, and I was bored, and honestly kind of sad, so I began speaking to myself. At first I just said my thoughts aloud, then I went into more detail about what was really bothering me at the time. It did help get to the source of the problem and find out what was really upsetting me at the time. I did end up revealing a secret, but not to anyone else. It helped me figure myself out a little more, because sometime saying things aloud can make more sense than thinking about them. You could be surprised at what you can find out about yourself.
