if this poem good? ?

butler in black
a dark, dark soul
that is, if within him
there is one at all
young master he serves
till vengeance is dealt
“sebastian! ”
he is called
by the master he serves
to do his bidding at all hours

he must always oblige
the child who bids him work
whatever is ordered,
he shall complete
any competition
shall fall to its knees

butler in black
will never hold back
“i’m one hell of a butler,”
yeah, sebastian, we know that!

his young master
a happy boy until the night of the fire
parents gone,
he was taken
branded
and tortured as on enslaved
until by his own desperate desire
he summoned a demon to grant his wish
the demon said, “you know what i want in return for this right? ”
“tch, i am a phantomhive,
i walk in the darkness, not in light
take my soul, i don’t want it.
but i will have my revenge,
but with you by my side,
my parent’s death,
i will avenge,” the young master said.

Which word best describes the author's tone in this excerpt from "that spot" by jack london? i don’t think much of stephen mackaye any more, though i used to swear by him. i know that in those days i loved him more than my own brother. if ever i meet stephen mackaye again, i shall not be responsible for my actions. it passes beyond me that a man with whom i shared food and blanket, and with whom i mushed over the chilcoot trail, should turn out the way he did. i always sized steve up as a square man, a kindly comrade, without an iota of anything vindictive or malicious in his nature. i shall never trust my judgment in men again. why, i nursed that man through typhoid fever; we starved together on the headwaters of the stewart; and he saved my life on the little salmon. and now, after the years we were together, all i can say of stephen mackaye is that he is the meanest man i ever knew. a. excited b. ironic c. indignant d. playful

Read this excerpt from the exposition in "the monkey's paw." father and son were at chess, the former, who possessed ideas about the game involving radical changes, putting his king into such sharp and unnecessary perils that it even provoked comment from the white-haired old lady knitting placidly by the fire. what is one piece of information you can infer about the story from this sentence? a. the father in the story is possessed, so he probably says insane things a lot. b. the woman in the story is knitting, so the characters probably don't have good clothes to wear. c. the father is playing chess with the son, but the son is not old enough to know the rules. d. since the father likes taking risks in a game, he might like taking risks in life as well.
