maurice, the oldest brother in his family, drove his too younger brothers, to summer school everyday on the way to work. every summer break, maurice worked as a news editor for the local newspaper. when he graduated from high school, he planned to pursue a career in publishing. so, he wanted to gain as much experience as possible. summer breaks gave maurice a chance to follow this passion outside of school. maurice was especially looking forward to working with the editors this summer. to his excitement, they were launching a new section in the newspaper: community sports. and, maurice was told he would lead this section by covering all the sports events over the summer. that meant he would be able to cover the sports events all summer long, including his younger brothers' baseball games. not only would maurice be able to be involved with the newspaper this summer, but he would also be able to spend time with his younger brothers.
