This is not a part of my homework but i've been wondering, in the story romeo & juliet when romeo killed tybalt, benvolio told romeo to run away because the prince will put him to death but benvolio told the prince that romeo killed tybalt. why did benvolio tell the prince that romeo killed tybalt if he was trying to protect romeo?
