Excerpt from inaugural address, jan. 20, 1961

john f. kennedy

…and so, my fellow americans: ask not what your country can do for you — ask what you can do for your country.

martice read kennedy's speech in english class and this portion really had an impact. he decided to become a volunteer. he decided to write his next essay as a classification essay to rate volunteer opportunities in his town. this would him break down the options so he could further investigate volunteer opportunities - and probably add another 'a' to his english grades.

which task is most important in his classification essay?

a) present your vision to solve the problem. a) is wrong

b) address details from least important to most important.

c) place local volunteer agencies in order by date of creation

d) arrange or sort volunteer agencies into relevant categories.
