Primary sources are sources that are collected firsthand from the experience. For instance: A picture taken at the scene, an interview with a person who was at the scene, or a speech that was given at the scene would all be considered primary sources because they come from the scene through experience. They differ from secondary sources because, unlike primary sources, secondary sources get their information from other sources. Primary sources must get their research from the scene itself.
