after fishing around in her backpack for another few minutes, rina began to panic. she was already nervous about the interview and now her missing keys added to her stress. standing in the hot parking lot, she took a deep breath, squeezed her eyes shut, and began to form a plan. she would have to retrace her steps. rina turned and ran for the door she had exited through. inside the building, she bounded up the steps two at a time, missing the silver glint of her keys on the landing. her long strides brought her to the second floor, and she rushed to her locker.
