let’s talk about self-acceptance. self-acceptance is unconditional. despite your flaws, weaknesses, and failures, you accept and appreciate yourself. once you have learned to accept yourself, you find it easier to forgive yourself and to disregard judgment.

forgetting about negative judgment is usually said to be part of the first steps in loving and accepting yourself. self-validation is a vital part of inner happiness and peace. why do you need to seek validation from others? seeking validation is proved to be harmful to your esteem. you’re enabling people to control your life based on your fear of what people think of you. don’t let people dictate what you can and can’t be.
