One of beatty’s criticisms of the old woman and her books is that “none of those books agree with each other.” obviously, author ray bradbury wants us to read a wide variety of books. what, do you suppose, happens when we read only books that align with our own world view? what is gained? what is lost? (this is from the book fahrenheit 451)
