the deer population on komodo island is decreasing due to poachers. the effect of the decreasing deer population means less food for the dragons. this can be a problem because with less deer for the komodo dragons to eat, the further the komodo dragon has to hunt for food. which means that the komodo dragon must enter the villages and snatch the goats. this will cause major problems for both komodo dragons and townspeople.
