GRANDPA WILL- Hannah's grandpa who survived the Holocaust and is angry about everything that happened. Aunt Eva- Hannah's aunt who was in the Holocaust by the name of Rivka. Chaya was the one to save her life in the end.

AUNT EVA - Aunt Eva is Hannah's aunt, a survivor of the Holocaust. In the camp, Hannah meets her as the character of Rivka. Hannah will not recognize her until she returns, or wakes up, in New Rochelle.

GRANDPA DAN -  Grandpa Dan is Hannah and Aaron's grandfather on their mother's side.

GRANDMA BELLE - Grandma Belle plays only a small part in the novel. She is Grandpa Will's wife, and she is hostess at the Seder dinner in the beginning of the book.
