According to the myth of the great flood, the relationship between the gods and humans like is that the earth destroys when people started to doing sinful works like killing each other, steal, lie and so many sinful works. The Great Flood was supposedly sent by God or the gods upon the earth in order to destroy civilization as an act of divine punishment.
