Jacob had lost his lucky nickel. He checked under his bed. Then, he realized it was probably in the pocket of his jeans. His jeans were in the laundry room in the basement. Jacob grabbed a flashlight and walked slowly down the creaky stairs into the dark and musty basement. Suddenly, something caught his eye in the beam of the flashlight! He felt around for the light switch on the wall. “There it is!” he said, bending down and scooping up the nickel. “I must have dropped it when I brought the laundry downstairs.”
