The most important thing we can do as educators is to ensure that the academic content is accessible for EL students through how we address their language development (e. g., strategies/techniques) and making sure that connection is made when they learn academic content. Educators must be able to differentiate instruction to foster how EL students learn both oral and written language concurrently?
