Lady Tremaine, the evil stepmother from Cinderella, is bitter and mean. We know little about her except that she only cares about two things: making her daughters succeed and making Cinderella miserable. Every single thing she does in the story is done to accomplish one of these two things. Lady Tremaine is an example of which character type .
