Yo can someone help me out and write me an ode for an English 2 class I suck at poems.

An ode is a type of poem that usually celebrates a person, a place, a period in time, etc.

Here is the example she gave me: Ode to January 1st, 2020

We lived with worries that have now been pushed aside.
People made resolutions and saw a fresh decade ahead, excited for a new beginning.
It was a time when we did not worry about face masks,
Or toilet paper,
Or the well-being of our elders.
Life was a blank notebook, waiting for us to draft our dreams.
It was not so long ago, and I can’t say we were happier.
We were planning, we were looking ahead.
But today?
Today we know that to plan would be foolish, and we look back.
We remember counting down to something novel. A year.
Not a virus.
