Explanation: North Korea is very strict on who can cross their borders and the country is very isolated. The government spreads propaganda to its people by telling them that North Korea is the richest country when in reality they are very poor. The North Koreans however, believe this because no one can tell them otherwise and they haven’t experienced anything in the real world outside of their tiny country. Also, North Koreans government is very strict. Cell phones are tracked and most household items are tapped so officials can listen in and make sure their people are being obedient and not questioning the government and its propaganda. This propaganda has caused fellow North Koreans to be very proud of who they are and believing that they are not suffering even though outside on the streets are filled with beggars, homeless people, and dead bodies. Propaganda had manipulated North Koreans and tricked them into thinking the way the government would like.
