I need a Position essay with 1000 word.
I am having trouble with doing my essay and can't think of anything to write about, please someone help.

The objective of this assignment is to establish a position in an argument and support it with credible sources. Remember, arguments use evidence and demonstrate how each element supports the whole position.

For this assignment, you will take a position on an issue of your choice. However, you must steer clear of these forbidden topics: abortion, legalization of marijuana, underage drinking, gun control, death penalty, et cetera. Avoid any topic that is argued primarily through ideology. Find academic articles that support your position. Do not forget to address the counterargument. Your objective is to establish a position and develop it into an essay that will rhetorically convince an audience. You should argue for a link between specific evidence and show how it supports your thesis.

Assignment:
Your final essay should do the following:
• Include a hook or engaging introduction
• Assert a clear position in a thesis and support it throughout the paper
• Use the following questions to help you prewrite:
• What question do I want to answer in my essay?
• What credible evidence is available?
• How should I structure my argument for writing? In other words, which elements should I tackle first, second, third, et cetera. Create an outline to ensure logical flow of ideas.
• How do I address the counterargument?
• How do I create my own ethos, pathos, logos for my audience?
• Be sure to consider logos/ethos/pathos and subject/speaker/purpose/audience. • Use MLA formatting.

Format and Recommendation: Your position essay should be at least 1000 words and must comply with MLA conventions; this means that both the essay and in-text quotations should be formatted accordingly (MLA Style Guide PowerPoint), and the essay should be double-spaced. You must use at least three sources for this essay. You should be sure to include a “Works Cited” page at the end of your essay. Once again, refer to the MLA Style Guide PowerPoint for how it should look.
