Write a personal narrative essay that relates thematically to Shirley Jackson’s short story, “The Lottery.” In Jackson’s story, she explores issues related to conformity, so you can use the ideas you developed in assignment #5 to guide your writing. In your personal essay, you will relay an experience and/or your beliefs about conformity.
