Goldilocks was hungry as she wandered in the woods. She came upon an old house, where there were three bowls of porridge cooling on the kitchen table. She had been warned that it was rude to go into another person's house uninvited, but she had finished breakfast more than an hour before and needed a little snack. She found the house empty, went inside, and ate one of the bowls of porridge. Then she became tired and looked for somewhere to nap. After trying all the beds, she found that the smallest one was the best, so there she stayed. That is, until the bears who owned the house returned!The furious bears, seeing the eaten porridge, searched the house for the offender. They found Goldilocks and roared! Goldilocks was up in a flash and darted out of the window. As she ran home, she thought that her mother might have had a good point about minding her manners.
