Dear Diary,

Today was by far that most extraordinary day in my career as a pen. It was not a good extraordinary day; on the contrary, it was horrifying. In my home there are a few younger children that are crazy in every way. They took me by the bottom with a firm grip and used me to write all over the lamp. They wrote on the base and even the shade, and when they were finished, they blamed the whole thing on me. In the future, I am going to do everything in my power to stop these awful creatures from doing this task ever again. It has surely been a crazy day.
