One of the biggest arguments against electric cars has been their limited range. Electric cars do have a shorter range, but that range is plenty for most drivers. The majority of American drivers travel an average of less than 35 miles a day, and the average electric car has about  100 miles worth of energy a charge. Charging the car at home each night will provide enough power for daily driving and allow drivers to save time by avoiding stops at the gas station. And, as the number of electric cars on the road increases, more businesses and employers will install charging stations for their customers and employees, which will make charging a vehicle even easier.
