Animals that have been labeled endangered are at risk for going extinct because their populations are dropping, and we must do something to stop this important problem. Animals often become endangered because of habitat loss, poaching, pollution, or capture. One example is the loss of habitat for tigers. In the last 10 years, tiger territory has dropped by 40%. This example shows how serious and urgent the problem is for endangered animals. Turtles have lived on earth for around 300 million years. One way we can solve this problem is by donating to organizations that conserve habitats and fight to protect animals and the environment
