Zerk is an alien from the planet Irken, where status is determined by how tall one is. Zerk's father is consistent in the Zevantium army. Brawn, brains, and tallness in what is tolerated in the army.  Since Zerk is one of the shortest people on Irkendite (and incompetent to boot), the Almighty Tallest send him on a fake mission with a deranged robot , named Ziv. Zerk disguises himself as an ordinary politician in order to gather information about Earth. Only Reynold, a running candidate realizes that Zerk is an alien.
