The statement that accurately describes the narrator’s point of view in Anthem by Ayn Rand is that It remains as first person but changes from we to I. It is said that n the story, the narrator was using the first person "we" because it was forbidden in their society. It was during in Chapter 11 that he started to use "I" instead of "we". We can derive from this sudden change that the narrator wanted to emphasize his individuality and that he does not want to be stuck in a world wherein he cannot recognize himself as a single person. It is set in a dystopian society wherein everything was not good and that the author wanted to tell the readers that someday, we will be experiencing these phenomena.
