In this lesson, you will learn how to make a survival shelter. First, take the long branch and wedge it into the fork of the tree so that it forms an acute triangle with the ground. Next, take hold of one of the shorter branches. Place it at an angle against the long branch so that one end rests on the long branch, and the other end rests on the ground. Repeat this process with the rest of your branches. Make sure that the branches are packed tightly against each other. Finally, cover the shelter’s walls with pine branches, moss, or dead leaves for warmth. When you are finished, no light should seep through the walls into the shelter.
