What was most likely the author’s reason for using the specific animal imagery that they did when describing Zhang Fei?

a- The animals that Zhang Fei is compared to are all very powerful, respected and fearsome creatures which mirror and help the reader to get a sense of his personal characteristics

b-Zhang Fei became famous in China for slaying and wearing the skins of the animals he is described as which foreshadows the animals killing him later in the story

c-The character of Zhang Fei is a cold, heartless, violent warrior who acts on his instincts rather than intellect or morality and his lack of basic human qualities makes him animalistic

warren buffett- the oracle of omaha warren buffett came from a normal type of family in nebraska. when hew as young, he understood the value of investing money and gaining interest on that investment. he strived hard at several jobs, but what made him one of the wealthiest men in the world was his gift for allocating capital within a free market system. warren buffett is an example of a man whose wealth is owed largely to the free enterprise system. buffett was able to allocate his money however he wanted, investing in businesses that he thought could compete effectively. without the free market system, he would not have the right to invest however he wanted, and would not have become so wealthy.

wordsworth tends to see nature as 'out there'; a presence which surrounds humans, and contributes to human life, but is different from humans. if you look at a typical wordsworth poem (there was a boy, ye knew him well ye rocks) - wordsworth talks about nature as something that needs to be learned about and understood, nature is different from us.  

if you look at a byron poem (the isles of greece is a good one) - byron looks at nature mainly for what it already means to man. wordsworth will look at a landscape and see the mountains, trees, valleys, and rivers as almost spiritual presences - wordsworth wants to get to know nature.  

byron will look at the same landscape and he will want to know who lives there, what are the villages? are there any farms or mines, is there some history?  

wordsworth looks at nature for what it is; byron is forever asking what it means.  

wordsworth thinks that humans are part of nature; byron thinks that nature is part of being human
