They have an opportunity to concentrate on there sport as well as school. It also is good because the student is able to take extra classes in areas that interest them such as art or music. A disadvantage to this could be that the student has to be responsible to make sure that they are getting there work done since they are not in a classroom setting. Another disadvantage could be that they might not be able to get the help that they might need.
