I just finished reading the poem I wander lonely as a cloud by William Wordsworth. I´m very much impressed by the clear message Wordsworth has for us mankind. Therefore, I decided to share my thoughts on the poem with you. I promise not to bother you with unnecessary details.

Instead I will focus on the title to explain the intention of this beautiful poem. Lonely is a keyword that Wordsworth uses to introduce himself in this lamentful state. But cloud points to an elevated feeling and at the same time links the author with nature itself. Now maybe I´m wrong with my personal interpretation but I sense that Wordsworth describes how important it is for us human beings to be connected with nature - his loneliness is absorbed by nature that proves to be his companion - because it is essential to human happiness.
