although in negative ways The Internet has changed the way we interact with our family, friends, and life partners. Now everyone is connected to everyone else in a simpler,more accessible,  immediate way.

Smartphones are gaining ground in everyday life.  74 percent use their phone as an alarm clock, 70 percent use it as their camera, and 67 percent use it as their watch.

In conclusion, the use of the internet has both negative and positive effects which affect children, youths and adults as a whole. It is therefore the responsibility of everyone to ensure that the negative effects are suppressed while the positive effects dominate to decrease addiction as well as loneliness. This can only be achieved if we use the internet for just important stuff and spend the rest of the day spending time with our family and friends .
