There is a girl I love...

when together we soar like two doves.

But here I am,

bearing no gift.

What a man I am,

I must run and catch the lift.

I need to scram,

for if not she will drift.

I need to get something fast!

Oh my love,

you are a never ending task!

Here I am now at the store,

nothing catches my eyes.

I cannot fail my dear,

oh that is my greatest fear!

I see some pretty flowers,

but none that would throw her off her toes.

Than I see the pink roses.

Ah yes, there they grow.

Oh how much they glow!

Now quick to my love,

I must hurry.

Oh no, my glove,
