Next use your shovel to dig your hole. Shape the hole so that it is narrowest at the bottom.
Then line the hole with 1 inch of sand. After
that, cover the sand with your sheet of plastic.
Be sure the plastic extends at least 6 inches
beyond the edges of the pond to prevent
leaking. Then pile the rocks or bricks onto the
edges of the plastic sheet to keep it in place.
