Your school has arranged a trip to a theme park. Write a letter to parents who may be worried by this, explaining why their children are more likely to enjoy the experience than not.

Hello families of school.

We are excited to inform you that your kids will be going to a field trip to a theme park. There are many opportunities to learn while on this field trip. Your kid will learn about standing in line to wait for their turn, paying money for food, and many other life lessons will be taught throughout the trip. There is no need for concern, as your kids will be kept under supervision by trusted volunteer chaperones. This is a great place for your kid to have fun and unwind as well. There are a lot of safe rides that your kid will enjoy. Come join us by volunteering for one of our chaperones, and you can have fun with your own kids and help others.

remember always that germany and italy, regardless of any formal declaration of war, consider themselves at war with the united states at this moment just as much as they consider themselves at war with britain or russia. and germany puts all the other republics of the americas into the same category of enemies. the people of our sister republics of this hemisphere can be honored by that fact.  

the true goal we seek is far above and beyond the ugly field of battle. when we resort to force, as now we must, we are determined that this force shall be directed toward ultimate good as well as against immediate evil. we americans are not destroyers — we are builders.
