Without the point of view, we never would have known that Phil felt this way about Milo and his decisions. In addition, the narrator also states how Britt was feeling. "Britt kept thinking that this was the worst movie she'd ever seen, like it was made in 10 minutes on someone's smartphone." This also adds to Britt's character becuase it shows her opinion on the movie and comes to show what kind of a person she is. The point of view helps us see her views on Milo's work, showing her personality more. In conclusion, the third-person omniscient point of view helps develop character by showing how they feel inside.
