I need help finding a topic for this project Project: Current Events Report Project Goal: To understand the importance of media bias and the impact of Current Events. Directions: Please carefully read through ALL the directions listed in this document. You are responsible for following all instructions that are listed. For this project, you will choose a historical (will have an impact on other events or situations) current event that happened in the past week. You will find 2 articles that cover the same event or topic and answer the questions listed below the project rubric. Project Checklist: Make sure your project includes each item below before you submit it; missing items may cause your project to be reassigned. An event (action) that happened outside the United States or involves multiple countries. An event no more than 10 days old when you submit the project. Responses listed directly after each question (i. e., response to #1 listed after question #1, response to #2 listed after question #2, etc.). 3-4 complete sentence paragraph response for each question. An informational heading placed at the start of your responses. A properly formatted Works Cited page with both sources included. New events within an on-going situation can be used – a specific bombing within an on-going war, for example. If you want to be sure, please send your teacher a message asking if the topic you chose is appropriate or not before starting your work. Stories about sports, celebrities, documentaries, and other such entertainment news do not count as a current event. *If you are in two history classes, it is plagiarism to try and earn credit for the same work twice*
