In the early spring ships make their way into the Portsmouth
Naval Shipyard. After several voyages around the northern
Atlantic coast, the Blue Wren was in need of repair. Trade-winds
had flickered and soon died away, the calm of spring had
settled in. There would be ship tours and the opportunity to
allow children and adults an opportunity to board and tour a
sailor's way of life. This was exciting for the young sailors and
they anticipated their guests. Captain Sanoll was prepared. He
knew that this was the time when his crew would truly see how
hospitable they were. Acknowledging their abilities to problem:
solve and work together as these traits were something he'd
never seen in a crew with so many young recruits.
