Plausible means something that is reasonable and sensible. I figured out my definition by using context clues. Alfred says, “one of the necessary ingredients of the formula is a series of plausible situations.” He means that there needs to be logical situations to make suspense. Then he says, “"When characters are unbelievable, you never get suspense, only surprise." He means that when the characters are fictional then that does not make suspense. This means that to make a suspenseful movie you need to make believable acts.
