From "Achilles and Agamemnon Argue" Click on the four sentences that belong in a summary of this excerpt.
Calchas the seer predicts pestilence for the Achaeans unless Agamemnon
returns Chryseis, a girl he has captured and intends to marry. Agamemnon
resists and gets into an argument with Achilles, claiming he should be given
another prize in Chryseis's place. Agamemnon says he loves the girl more
than his current wife, Clytemnestra. Achilles argues that it would not be fair
to give another man's prize to Agamemnon, threatening to leave the battle if
Agamemnon insists. Agamemnon says he will return Chryseis and take
Briseis, another girl, from Achilles. Achilles storms out of the tent, gathers his
men, and sets sail for home.
